Dr. Sousa is the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs with responsibility for educational programs at MSU CHM. He is a general internist who went to Indiana University for medical school and did his residency and chief residency at MSU. He received the 2006 Teacher-Scholar Award for his scholarly efforts that focus on the simulation of patient panels for training medical students and the quality of his teaching.
