Check out the resources below to help prepare you to be a competitive candidate for residency.

Interviewing with Confidence

The interview is an invaluable way to see how well the potential candidate will fit into a residency program. It is also the time, when you, as the candidate assess the program’s compatibility in meeting your personal and professional goals. Residency Interviewers are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about their program and dedicated to the specialty. They want to see that you are motivated and ready to hit the ground running!

Interviewing can be somewhat stressful for the candidate and it is only natural to experience a little anxiety in wanting to make a positive first impression. Just remember, you’ve received excellent training over the past four years and disciplined yourself in gaining the skills and knowledge to successfully transition into a good residency program. Have confidence in yourself and keep a positive attitude. You can do it!
